For many who begin their journey into online marketing, list building can be confusing and not understood properly.  I did not realize when I got started how important my list was and how to use it to build my business.  The truth of the matter is, that without a list there are few in which you can market to.  And the ability to create and attract traffic to your website or blog can be a bit challenging. 

Your list is those people who are interested in what you are offering and in what information that you are providing.  If you are an affiliate marketer, these are also the people whom you will market the products and services that have helped you build your business or people that you follow for their expertise.  Once you have created a product or service of your own, your list is the lifeline to the internet and thousands of other possible visitors to you blog or website. 

It is so important to provide great information and tips or suggestions as well as purchasable materials to add value for your followers to use in their businesses.  Sometimes just a note of encouragement or acknowlegement to let them know that they are appreciated is a welcome for many who receive your email.

Many times  a large amount of business owners get stuck in the 8am to 5pm thinking mode. They seem to forget that when they are asleep the other side of the world is open and doing business. Cyberspace is an unlimited market in an unlimited time frame. In a variety of cases the average person works an eight to five job then comes home and gets online. In a minor amount of people there is a tendency to avoid the computer since they spend an entire day on the computer for job purposes. There are several ways to take advantage of a market the never closes for business and make it work for you. These are just a two of the tools you can use to maximize your online business.

The first tool to develop and expand your online business in the internet market is to use autoresponders to do tasks at various times of the day or night. Some new internet marketers have not learned the importance of autoresponders for their businesses.  and some do not even know what an autoresponder is.  I was that way in the beginning but have since learned that withou some kind of email responder, it is difficult to build an list of followers.  Without a list of followers you can not effectively market products or services, whether they are yours or those you choose to be affiliated with.
