With the year 2009 at its end, many are evaluating and re-evaluting the resolutions, progress and the accomplishments of the year gone by.  Some  entrepreneurs did not reach their goals for whatever reason.  The internet marketing business requires time and effort unlike a nine to five, brick and mortar job.  So some got a little discouraged when the economy took a nose dive and the world around them began to fray or fall apart. 

Some of us reach our goals and experienced dreams that came true.  But the buck does not stop here.  If you are in the numbers of individuals that did acquire success in your endeavors and reach your finishline, now is the time to start a new race.  On the internet as with many other types of business that delivers great success, we are always in training for the next level.  A longer race, a higher mountain, a deeper sea or whatever your heart chooses to call it.  None the less, it is not over as opposed to a new beginning.  Another step up on your staircase to success, which by the way is a journey and not a destination.  Your reached goals are a destination that take you to the next opportunity to grow. 

So with 2010 here and waiting for your next move, the first move you need to make is to determine where you want to go by New Years Eve next year.  Your goal list must include your action list.  Making a list of goals will not get you to your dreams and suitable lifestyle.  The action you take to get there is the fuel that makes your vehicle (goals) advance.  Decide how much time and money will you invest to continue training and learning the most current technology and information.  And last but not least at all, is what will your celebration look like?  I am looking forward to traveling with you on that journey for the next amazing year!

The attempts to become successful by many people tends to deflected by what is called self sabotage.  Have you ever felt like you have sabotaged yourself?  did you ever thing from time to time that you had set boobie traps that would slow you down or even bring you to a complete halt?  Chances are that have probably flattened a few of your own success tires or blown up a couple of your own financial bridges and even spread around a few rumors about yourself.

Well, it is time to put a stop to all this and catch the culprit before it gets too out of hand.  It is truely worth your effort.  so how do you do this and keep control so that your little saboteur does not run will again?  Become a person of intention and in alignment with the world around you.  Be convicted to succeed.  Use your intuition to recognize and realize when you begin to set success land mines that will throw your off your road and into a temporary ditch. 

This kind of transition does not happen all at once and will take to time to implement.  Sometime it will take quite a “wake up” call to get your attention.  it will require you to get your act together with no other choice.  You will stop looking for your someday and realize that the time is NOW. This is when you see that the dreams and efforts that you had some time ago are ready for harvest.

The secret is to get yourself to do what you you know you must do.  Now that you have been working at your “saw has been sharpened” and it is time to use it. The situation with most people is that they are busy hacking away in pursuit of their dreams with a dull axe.

There Is A Difference Between A Coach And A Mentor For Your Road To SuccessPosted by admin on August 9th, 2009

I have been doing business on the internet since 2007 and on several occassions I have been asked, ‘What is the difference between a Coach and a Mentor”?  “Which do I need or do I need both”?  The answer to the second question is, some people need one or the other and some people need both.  But all of that depends on each individual and their specfic needs.  There is a difference between mentors and coaches.

A mentor is a teacher, one who gives you the information and shows you how to do it.  when I started in 2007, I had a very special mentor.  I met her at a camp called “Enlightened Warrior Training Camp” and she was one of my roommates.  After camp this woman continued to communicate with me and took me under her wings as she began her journey of building an internet business.  Her name is Connie Ragen Green and she is now a very successful internet icon.  We would spend hours on the phone at night as she walked me through many methods, techniques and steps.  I know I frustrated her at times but she was persistent.  Although I do not hear from her much now I still believe her to be a master teacher and much of my success online is from the teaching and nurturing of Connie Green.   If you are new at building an internet business I recommend that you visit Connie  at Ebook Writing and Marketing Secrets and sign up for her teleseminars. 

On the other hand a coach on the internet is one who encourages and inspires people to take the steps neccessary to put their learned into action.  That is where I come in.  My passion is to stand in the gap and be the one who does not and will not let an individual give up.  When discouragement seems to be taking over, a coach checks your progress,  looks at the road ahead and assists you in taking one more step forward.  Reach just a little higher,  use the tools that you have to go a little farther and is there when you succeed in the endeavor.  When additional tools are needed your coach will encourage you to find another mentor with those tools or return to your previous mentor for additional training.  That is why I enjoy working with the team of Peak Potentials Training at their events when I am not writing.   You can follow me on Twitter as well.

So as you can see, there will be some people who will need a mentor who will teach them what they need to know to be successful.  Some people will be able to take action and some will need the assistance of a coach to keep them on track and moving forward down their success road.  It is all an individual situation.  Which or both is all up to you and what you want to build to create a new lifestyle for yourself.

In many cases the average person tends to sell themselves short on their dreams. They do not shoot high enough to allow smaller dreams and goals to carry them to a higher level. Some may think that lots of words and phrases are a sign of a big thinker. One thing to remember is that the size of your vocabulary is not as important as what effect those words have on yours or someone else’s thinking. There are several characteristics of big thinkers. These are three characteristics to keep in mind and get you started in expanding your thinking.

Big Thinkers create positive pictures in their minds and the minds of others. Words create mind pictures. Big, positive and cheerful words will paint an amazingly bright and positive for anyone to include yourself. 

Big Thinkers make a habit of see things as they can be and not as they are. This kind of thinking adds value.  If you will see the best then it will be the best.

Big Thinkers do not let what they may not have be an obstacle. If you see yourself as a nobody, that is what you will stay. Seeing yourself as a somebody will add to you, value and soon you will feel bigger as well as think bigger.

Make it a habit to add value to everything you think and say. Always use personal compliments when addressing others. Praise is always a successful tool when adding value to another person. A big thinker will consider themselves as the member of a team reaching for a common goal. When you keep these things in mind then you are on your way to expanding the height and size of your thinking

I recently decided to take over the managing of my entertainment/inspirations website.  what a challenge that has been.  But…I have accomplished small steps to share with you my big dream.  So for all who fear the power of the internet, have nn fear.  With a little pure stubborn and determination, creating and managing a website is not as difficult as it had originally seemed.  On the site, I share with you a small shopping area with a few of the sayings and quotes that I have put on photos which I have taken over the years that inspired me to take the next step forward despite any of the obstacles I have encountered.  I have also gone into the recording studio to record a beautiful song which is now available on CD and will soon be available on mp3 download. 

For those of you who may wonder if you can really dowhatever your dream is that you hold in your heart, let me encourage youto go ahead and take one more step forward.  “Shoot For The Stars…You Just May Reach The Moon”

Along with the challenges that the present economy presents a certain amount of uncertainty.  We almost feel like the days are covered with clouds but keep in mind that clouds are only temporary.  Keep your joy and don’t let a few clouds sour your life.There is so much doom and gloom that if you are not careful it will sink you. 

What we need to do during these times is to respond instead of react.  Figure out what stands between you and the challenge.  Maybe it is worry, fear or doubt.  Once we have identified the source we need to say to ourselves and the world that ”This is not setting me back, it is setting me up for a better outcome.  The economy may be affecting my business but it is not going to affect my mind.”

We will all go through challenges and make some decisions but the key is to go through these challenges as the victor and not  the victim.  Tackle the challenges as the champion.  You are closest to your victories when it seems the darkest.  Happiness is something you decide upon ahead of time.

It is quite apparent that these are times times of crunch and of pulling in our belts to weather through the rise and fall of the economy. This period of time is when the pressure in on and the outcome of the situation depends on the efforts made to power through the toughest odds. Many people, if they have not already experience it…will. These are the moments when almost all responsibility rests on you and your ability to step up to the plate. You may not always be able to “sink the shot” but you will be setting an example of leadership and inspiration to those around you.

Most people run from tough situations because of fear or lack of confidence. But when you learn to stay focused and centered you learn to control that “little voice” that keeps telling you that you can’t. There are a few things you can learn to help control that little voice and keep you from running from the opportunities that allow you to grow and prosper.

Do all that you can to become someone who does not run from risk. Only those that embrace the risk will receive the reward. The ultimate secret to success is taking the risk and learning how to maneuver through the turbulent water. Each time you face a risk, it is not the risk but the learning that becomes the all important factor. It takes practice to develop a winning attitude and successful track record. But you can only achieve that when you continually step up to the plate and take the risk. After all, the only real risk is to do nothing and be just a spectator in you life.

We all will face crunch times in our lives but you must ask yourself if you are prepared. Just keep playing with everything you have and even the unexpected will reap considerable rewards.

Financial freedom is something that is sought after by a wide variety of people. But how many realize that in order to find or have financial freedom you will need to make some changes to the way you think about and handle money? You need to have a map or a blueprint of where you want to go. You will also need to realize that the way you look at wealthy and financially free individuals may need to change as well. There are several things to know that will help you to change your road to a financially free life.

Among the changes that need to happen is your ability to find someone who is already successful and role model after them. If possible, spend time with them and learn more about the steps they took to get where they are. Don’t just hear the lessons, learn them. Along with the changes you will begin to make will come opportunities to apply what you have learned. As long as you are still learning, you will continue to grow. 

When you begin to grow there is another thing that needs to be understood. Everyone has problems and money problems are one them. To be successful to the point of freedom you will need to grow yourself bigger than your problems. Financially free individuals have problems also but they have learned to be bigger than those problems making the same problems smaller in perspective. As long as your problems are bigger than you, the chances are that you will not gain the freedom and success you are trying to achieve. You have to raise the ceiling on how high you are willing to shoot . As the saying goes, “If You Shoot For The Stars, You Just May Reach The Moon”. When you get to the moon and look down, you will see that the same problems you had before are much smaller in perspective than they were before.

So many times I have heard people ask this question and yet the answer is so simple.  Don’t just start a business, create a freedom factory.  You can not have a business that runs your life.  You have to actually break free of your business to experience freedom.  So the next question that is asked is, “And just how do you do that?”  And again the answer is quite simple.

In order to create a business that is a freedom factory you have to work hard but not in the sense that you generally know.  You have to work hard for a reletively short period of time and develop systems that will work for you.  These systems should eventually replace you.  Then and only then will you experience freedom.  Freedom to do what you, want when you want and with who you want.

Technology systems are the direction you should move toward.  They can help you create the maximum amount of freedom in a reasonably short period of time.  So what is the number 1 key to building a freedom business of you own?  Develop systems that will replace you in the long run.  When the business runs itself instead of you, it is then when you will have the experience of freedom.

I am sure you have heard the saying “If you are going to dream, dream big”.  Well, the fact of the matter is that this statment is true.  Yes, smaller dreams are easier to accomplish but image what you will experience when you have huge dreams and live the smaller dreams you started with along the way.  I’m sure you have also heard the saying, “If you shoot for the stars, You just may reach the moon”.  It is true!  When you shoot farther that you can image you open up a whole new energy in what you can imagine.

The bigger the dreams, the more the attraction to fulfill those dreams.  And what a wonderful way to travel down your success road living a lifestyle created by the smaller dreams that are fulfilled along the way.  Most people will dream to just get by and get the bills paid.  Have you notice that is all they get in return.  They get just enough to get the bills paid and get by.  Don’t you think it is time to reach beyond what you can see and set your sights on what lies in the distance for you to have.  It is the number one principle in building and creating you business and your life.
