Is Being OK With Yourself Just An Excuse

So many times in the recent past I have heard especially women say “I’m OK with the way I am”.  But is that really OK?  Or is it just a blatant excuse for being lazy or unmotivated to make changes to be the best you that you can be?  Or even a lack of character and confidence.  If you have a business that deals with body improvement and you can’t see your ankles or elbows because of your weight, how much credibility do you really think you really have.  Or if you write about business and/or relationships yet after attending a promenant meeting all you can expound upon is the quality of the food and not the content of the meeting, do you really think  people are going to take you seriously?   Your first impression says everything about you and your character.  It reveals your self image and that will reflect upon how a person will feel about how you can do your business.  It is time to wake up and smell the flowers or lack thereof.  Thinking it is OK to be OK with yourself is a cop out and just an excuse to not improve your valuable image.  What people see first is what many base their future business dealings on.  And if you are not willing to step out of you boxed in comfort zone and do something physically to look your best then you should not be surprised if your business is not growing to the extent you would like it to either.  Let’s get real.  Being OK is not OK and it is time to stop finding excuses to do what it take to become the best you that you can and should be.  You will feel better about you also.  A new image is always a plus and when you look successful you will be successful.

Reinvent Yourself In These Times Of Uncertainty

There are several terms that I have heard about making changes to yourself.  One term is new to me but I like the sound of it.  It seems that in some cases a person needs to go through a transformation or reinvention to see the difference in themselves.  They don’t see themselves as they could be. But continue to see themselves as they are or as they were.  By reinventing yourself you start from a completelydifferent point than just a small change here and there.  That is probably why there are so many makeover shows in television.  Most people can not imagine what can be so they stay stuck on what is.  By looking at a total makeover or reinvention what we really can be will then emerge. Our character will have a new beginning and our confidence level will rise. Your new image can bring a welcome change on the inside as well.

With new confidence you can step into another world unlike the one you are currently in to create a new life.  Even in these times of uncertainty, you can become a newer, better, more prosperous person and life a lifestyle you have desired but not yet achieved.  By taking that first step of change you will see your character make changes as well.  By looking at yourself differently, others with look at you with more belief that the direction you are taking is a path to success.  You will find that your netowrk of associates will grow which in turn creates more opportunity for growth and new heights.  Especially in these times of economic uncertainty, redirecting and reinventing yourself may be the only way to weather the storm.
