Is Being OK With Yourself Just An ExcusePosted by admin on March 16th, 2009
So many times in the recent past I have heard especially women say “I’m OK with the way I am”. But is that really OK? Or is it just a blatant excuse for being lazy or unmotivated to make changes to be the best you that you can be? Or even a lack of character and confidence. If you have a business that deals with body improvement and you can’t see your ankles or elbows because of your weight, how much credibility do you really think you really have. Or if you write about business and/or relationships yet after attending a promenant meeting all you can expound upon is the quality of the food and not the content of the meeting, do you really think people are going to take you seriously? Your first impression says everything about you and your character. It reveals your self image and that will reflect upon how a person will feel about how you can do your business. It is time to wake up and smell the flowers or lack thereof. Thinking it is OK to be OK with yourself is a cop out and just an excuse to not improve your valuable image. What people see first is what many base their future business dealings on. And if you are not willing to step out of you boxed in comfort zone and do something physically to look your best then you should not be surprised if your business is not growing to the extent you would like it to either. Let’s get real. Being OK is not OK and it is time to stop finding excuses to do what it take to become the best you that you can and should be. You will feel better about you also. A new image is always a plus and when you look successful you will be successful.
