Membership sites are great tool to redirect subscriber traffic back in one direction.  In many cases internet marketers have several blogs or websites that tend to scatter traffic all over the internet.  a membership site can and will drive traffic back to one central location and increase the loyalty and purchases of those who subscribe. 

There are many types of membersites available depending on what the author is trying to accomplish and what type of content is being given.  One type of site is a publisher site that is used to continually give fresh content on a regular basis.  This type of site requires more time and more effort but is more rewarding.  Another site commonly used is the UPS site that delivers packages of content every month such are Private Label articles and ebooks.  And still another site used is one called micro content and is a limited time membership that can last from 6 weeks to one full yearwhich is very similar to the modular course type of member site which allows access to one module at a time after purchase and generally has a protected download area. 

There about ten types of sites that can be built to suit the online business.  But the question seems to arise as to why would people pay to get content that might be free elsewhere.  The answer is convenience.  They want solutions and information now.  So you must have great content that addresses questions, concerns, desires, wants, problems and challenges of the readers.

It is advantageous to look into building a website that is member oriented if you have content that serves the public using internet.  You will find that your income will increase as your reader get to know, like and trust you and your information and become comfortable with purchasing what you have to offer.

You Tube started out as a fun place to post your home videos and began to be utilized by internet entrepreneurs to share their products and sservices.  Entertainers started to promote themselves by posting music videos and now You Tube has become one of the most widely used promotional tools available to anyone who has a computer. 

The internet business owner can not only promote what they have to offer, they can also do trainings as well.  Entreperneurs like Alex Mendossian, Jeff Herring, Andy Andrews and many, many others use video to share messages,  make announcements of new programs and new offers regularly using video as the media means to reach their followers and students.  This creates that all too important personal touch that the internet can sometimes leave out.  Who is the person behind the website or voice or email?  Like it has been said that people will do business with those they know, like and trust.  What better a way besides meeting someone face to face than to hear them and see them on video. 

Most cameras these days have a video function on them and now the ever popular Flip Video Recorder makes doing random footage quite easy. Nowadays it is also advisable to get testimonials for credibility and what better way to do it and share them.   Windows has a movie maker that makes editing and adding titles and URL’s easy as well.  So if you are serious about building an online marketing business, it would be wise to look into adding video to your work and watch it grow.  One nice thing about posting to YouTube is that others can share your video with those that they know or those who  follow them and your message becomes viral and can travel all over the world.  Imagine how many lives you can touch.

When I first got started on Twitter, I had no idea what a RT or retweet was let alone how to do it.  I would see them and read thank you s for them but was clueless until I began to pay attention and ask some questions. So what is a retweet and what is the purpose.

A retweet or RT as you will see it is someone who repeats a post that someone else wrote and gives them the credit for the tweet by putting RT in front or the writers username.  Sometimes it is a quote or saying that someone likes or it is a product that is worthy of a repeat to the world of social networking.  There is an advantage to having someone retweet your post.  This allows your information to go to their entire network as well as your network which gives you a broader reader base. 

When you retweet a post, it shows appreciation for the information and creates a basis for future relationships with the people involved.  These people will watch your information more and pass it on when it is appropriate.  By retweeting someones material you are also placing value on the post by acknowledging the content and any links that the post may have. 

Also by using the retweet option, you begin to build a basis for your own brand.  Make sure when you retweet, that the information is good information and not just links to junk and other spam type advertising.  This builds a loyalty and trust for your followers when they know you are passing on great and relevant material. They will also trust your links to whatever it may be that you are promoting or content on your website.  When you are courteous and respectful you will find that there are more followers and more traffic to your websites which is a great recipe for success.

Building a business, especially online is a time consuming project and it is easy to get distracted in the course of a day.  Time management becomes extremely important to insure that ample time is created or set aside to get done the prior items that utimately make money.  And after all, making money is the name of the game. 

So the first thing you must do to create a managed environment is to get organized.  I sometimes have difficulty with this because I tend to write post it notes and after a while they pile up.  The next thing you know, I am not getting anything done since I am fishing through the pile trying to find the things I did not complete before.  The easiest way to avoid this is to put on a new post it the items not completed at the top and throw the old list away.  The next morning you can add to the list items that need attention during that day but paying particular attention to priority money making tasks.

Another way to maximize your time is to outsource things that can be easily done by others. This leave the more important priority items to you direct attention to complete.  Yes, it will cost a few dollars to get some kind of assistant however, the money you are saving and in turn earning far out weighs the few dollars necessary to get the lesser important items and tasks done by someone capable of assisting you.

Just recently I received a report in my email and realized the value of what I had received.  This report was full of great information but it had links in the content to websites that would be helpful in building your business as well .

Ff you are an affiliate marketer, this is an excellent way toprovide your readers and subscribers some great information without a charge and to generate additional income as well. 

These reports are called brandable reports which mean that you can put  your own affiliate links to the websites listed, in the report.  Along with the report you will recieve the application that will make those changes for you before you redistribute them to your subscriber list.  You can get your copy of this Quick Start Affiliate Marketing report and if it is something that helps you, you can pass it on.  Become an affiliate of the variety of websites listed to include many of the products and programs offered by the authors. Insert your links in the report before you send it out. 

This is a great way for someone new on the internet and in affiliate marketing to get started building a credible presence and trust.  At least until they tooo can create an information product of their own.  Some markets new do make a product of their own but make a sizable income only promoting other peoples products.

Writing has become a popular way to get your messege out about products and services of your own or those you are marketing.  The interesting thing is that when you put your keywords in for the search engines, you do not neglect to use your name as an important key word.  As an entrepreneur, your name is what is recognized by your readers and subscribers more than any other keyword.

When writing your article or blog post, make sure that if there is a place for keyword listing that your name is the first one that appears.  This way when someone is searching to inquire about your credibility, all of your work and accomplishments get listed in the results.  The more credibility you have, the more trust you will earn with your readers and subscribers.  This will in turn help to generate more traffic to your works and  more consumers for your products, services and any affiliations that you are promoting.
