Getting started with an online business is not really difficult.  The entire process, from the time you decide on a niche until you have a product online for sale can take as little three weeks. Once you have it  ready, you only have to drive traffic to the opt in page you create and build your list.  It take persistance to stay with it and desire to continue learning as you grow.

 A lot of people work with private label rights products to replace their income within a few months of getting started.  These digital products can be purchased very inexpensively and you can edit or rewrite them  or leave them the way they are.  PLR products come with graphics and a sales letter already.  Others will use products you can find at Your Public Domain Expert that are available until they create a product of their own to sell.  Once you can create information products of your own that will bring you years of passive income you your need for other people’s material will become less of a need for your success. 

Make sure that you choose a niche there is a market for and be prepare to change topics when you find that yours has little to no current marketing that can increase you income. Just this weekend I had the opportunity to spend some time with some very successful people in a mastermind session.  The outcome was outstanding and gave light to direction, technology and an insight to ideas to succeed.  A mastermind group is a group of people get together either in person or on the phone to exchange ideas and information.  It is also a way to be accountable in whatever your endeavor is.  These groups meet on a regular basis in order to stay up to date and current with what is going on with each person involved.

Some people use masterminding to grow their business or create new platforms in which to develop for the future.  This is the opportunity that I had the priviledge to be a part of this past week. It was an amazing experience  and I recommend that anyone who is serious about building and improving their business, especially online, find a mastermind group to become a part of.

You may not find a mastermind group that suits you right away so you may have to join more than one to establish the one that works best for you and your business.  Make sure that you communicate your expectations going in. If the group you get involved in does not meet those expectations, let them know where you stand then find a group that does. Once you do find a group, make sure that you are an active member to get the full benefit of the people and information that is within that group.  You will also be able to give things to share so that others in your group can benefit from you.

There was a day when people came to America as the “Land of Opportunity”.  But in recent days that has changed since the drop in our economic secruity and the amounts of jobs being lost on a daily basis.  Since the average household has a computer of some kind, more and more are learning how to use them to make money online, the Land of Opportunity is now the internet or cyberspace as some know it.  The opportunities are not restricted to land per se but are now globally accessible.

Many times  a large amount of business owners get stuck in the 8am to 5pm thinking mode. They seem to forget that when they are asleep the other side of the world is open and doing business. Cyberspace is an unlimited market in an unlimited time frame. In a variety of cases the average person works an eight to five job then comes home and gets online. In a minor amount of people there is a tendency to avoid the computer since they spend an entire day on the computer for job purposes. There are several ways to take advantage of a market the never closes for business and make it work for you. These are just a two of the tools you can use to maximize your online business.

The first tool to develop and expand your online business in the internet market is to use autoresponders to do tasks at various times of the day or night. Autoresponder messages are sent the moment you receive an order or subscription to inform your contact that their order or correspondence is acknowledged. Some autoresponders will send out the first copy of what ever is subscribed to or will automatically fill a digital order just moments after the order is placed. This makes your customer happy in the instant gratification world that we live in.

Some new internet marketers have not learned the importance of autoresponders for their businesses.  and some do not even know what an autoresponder is.  I was that way in the beginning but have since learned that withou some kind of email responder, it is difficult to build an list of followers.  Without a list of followers you can not effectively market products or services, whether they are yours or those you choose to be affiliated with. 

There are a few different programs you can use to set up a “sign up for” box on your blog or website.  My favorite is available at The Incredible Shopping Cart and it the one I use for several reasons.  I have my products in the shopping cart area, I have the autoresponders for marketing and there is also an affiliate program I can use when I have my e-material ready for purchase. it is everything contained in one program for 1 monthly fee that depends on how many of the features you utilize.  There is also a 30 free trial as well. 

I recently learned more about how to use my autoresponders and my list of potential consumers has increased tremendously.  The amount of information that I can deliver has increased as well.  Once you set up an autoresponder sequence, every time that you get a new person interested in whatyou have to offer the sequence takes over and does the work for you.  This frees up your time to work with your blog or website to provide added value to your visitors.  if you do not have an autoresponder program, it would be to your advantage to look into this amazing tool to help you build your online business.

There is an interesting little video camera that seems to be taking the internet worl by storm.  It is called the flip video.  I have heard about it on several occassions but saw it in action at a Peak Potentials Training by Alex Mendossian.  His presentation showed just how easy this video camera is to use and he plugged it in to a computer which let us see the video he just recorded on the big screens immediately.

This little recorder fits in you pocket and has an easy one touch recording with digital zoom that stores up to sixty minutes of video.  The USB plug that the camera comes with plugs right into your computer and lets you instantly put your videos online in your websites and YouTube so that you can share them right away with friends, family and business associates.  Imagine..no more extra cords to carry and lose.

I was at Twestival in Las Vegas when I saw people using this new idea and was amazed as we saw the results right there.  I did not realize the magnitude this new video recorder would explode into until I saw the actual demonstration by Alex Mendossian during his training.  It is a great addition to the world of internet marketing.

Mentor or Coach - Is There A Difference And Which Should You ChoosePosted by admin on March 19th, 2009

There seems to have arisen the question of the difference between a Coach and a Mentor.  Or is there a difference.  Yes, there is a significant difference between the two.  So what is that difference and which should you choose for your needs and future success.

A Coach is a person who is more like an encourager, motivater of cheerleader of sorts.  They are the person who can give you some tips and teachings but is more likely the person who will encourage you to stay focused and motivated to move forward.  This is most helpful when you are stuck or discouraged.  Frustration can cause you to stagnate or feel like quitting.  Your coach is there to find out what it is that is stopping or stifling you, and find ways or words to get you back on your feet and moving forward again. 

A Mentor on the other hand is a teacher, an educator in the field or process in which you are pursuing.  Someone who is a mentor has done what it is that you want to learn and provides you with the education needed to help you succeed.  This person should also be one who continues to do what they are teaching.   You may need more than one mentor depending on how many strategies you are using to create a successful business.  For instance you may be using teleseminars or articles to promote your business.  There are mentors who have been successful in both but not in other areas you choose to utilize. 

You may find it necessary to have a coach and a mentor to help you stay on track.  One to encourage your growth and one to teach you what you need to know.  One of my mentors is Connie Regan Green.  She has also been an encourager but is now mentoring a multitude of people on building an online businesses.  Her course in Online Technology  helped me to achieve online success and continues to guide me as I grow more successful.  In her post  Laying The Foundation For Your Online Business , she gives you several things you can do to build an online business.  When choosing a person to mentor you, make sure this person is successful at what they are doing and and teach you the next steps to get you where you want to go.
